The Most Feminine Thing You Can Become Is More Yourself

The Most Feminine Thing You Can Become Is More Yourself

I think femininity has become another thing women are being taught to perform.

There is a certain look, a certain routine, a certain way to speak, dress, eat, move, rest and even dream. And while I love softness, beauty, taking care of yourself and creating a life that feels feminine, I never want femininity to become another mould women have to squeeze themselves into.

Because to me, the most feminine thing you can become is more yourself.

More connected to your desires. More honest about your ambition. More confident in your body. More curious about your life. More willing to build the career you want, create the home you love, explore your passions, have fun, change your mind and still leave room for softness.

I don't think we were ever meant to choose one version of ourselves.

I think everything can exist together.

Femininity should leave room for personality

I don't want femininity to make women all look and live the same.

I want it to leave room for your culture. Your favourite foods. Your weird little interests. Your signature perfume. Your opinions. Your ambition. Your sense of humour. Your softness. Your style. The things you've loved for ten years and the new things you're still discovering.

That is what makes a woman interesting.

There is something so powerful about knowing what you like without constantly looking around to see whether it matches the version of femininity currently being promoted online.

You can love getting dressed up and also love lifting weights.

You can care deeply about your career and still want slow mornings.

You can be soft and incredibly direct.

You can love beauty and still be intellectually curious.

You can dream about a peaceful home and also want to build something huge for yourself.

None of those things cancel each other out.

The goal should never be to become more feminine by becoming less of yourself.

It should be to feel so comfortable in who you are that your femininity becomes something personal.

Desire and ambition belong here too

I think sometimes softness gets confused with having fewer desires.

But I don't believe women need to shrink their ambition to live softer lives.

I have goals. I want things. I want to grow. I want to build. I want to experience more. I care about my work, my future, my body, my mindset, my finances and the life I am creating.

And I don't think any of that takes away from femininity.

There is something deeply powerful about a woman allowing herself to want more without apologising for it.

Not because she hates the life she has.

Not because she is trying to prove something.

Simply because she is curious about what else she could create.

That could be a different career. A business. More financial freedom. A stronger body. A beautiful home. Travel. A healthier relationship with herself. New friendships. A family. A creative project. More confidence. More peace.

Your desires are allowed to be big.

And they are allowed to change.

You are allowed to build a life that reflects what you genuinely want instead of what you think a "feminine woman" is supposed to want.

I want my life to hold both softness and building

This is probably the part of femininity I care about the most.

I don't want softness to mean removing challenge from my life.

I want softness to be the way I support myself while I do challenging things.

I want to work towards my goals without speaking horribly to myself when something takes longer than expected.

I want to take care of my body because I live in it, not because I am trying to punish it into looking a certain way.

I want systems around my life so I can build what I want without everything feeling chaotic.

I want rest before I am completely exhausted.

I want fun to exist alongside responsibility.

I want evenings where I work on something I care about and evenings where I do absolutely nothing productive.

That balance feels far more feminine to me than trying to perfectly follow a routine somebody else created.

There are seasons when I want to push myself.

There are seasons when I need more space.

There are days where I feel incredibly ambitious and days where my body is asking me to slow down.

I want to be able to listen to all of it.

That is the kind of life I am trying to build.

Not a life where everything is soft all the time.

A life where I know how to be soft with myself while still becoming stronger.

You are allowed to have fun becoming who you are

I also think femininity needs more fun.

Sometimes the conversation around becoming a better woman becomes so serious.

Heal this. Fix that. Improve this. Optimise that. Become more disciplined. Become more regulated. Become more confident.

And yes, growth matters.

But I don't want women to spend their whole lives analysing themselves.

Go have experiences.

Laugh.

Wear something because it makes you feel beautiful.

Cook the food you love.

Try the hobby.

Travel somewhere.

Dance badly.

Learn something completely unrelated to your career.

Be curious.

Let yourself have interests that don't need to become productive.

I want women to feel excited about who they are becoming.

Not constantly dissatisfied with who they currently are.

Your life can hold ambition and play.

Discipline and softness.

Career goals and slow evenings.

Big desires and gratitude for what you already have.

Growth and fun.

There is room for all of it.

Becoming more of yourself

This is one of the biggest things I want Wellness Glow Club to stand for.

I want women to keep growing.

I want us to invest in ourselves, learn, dream bigger, take care of our bodies, build our futures and become incredible women.

But I don't want femininity to become another standard we're chasing.

I want it to bring us closer to ourselves.

To our bodies.

To our desires.

To our ambitions.

To our personalities.

To the kind of life we actually want to wake up to.

You don't have to become softer by becoming smaller.

You don't have to choose between ambition and femininity.

You don't have to choose between building and enjoying.

You don't have to become someone else's version of a woman.

You are allowed to create a life where your career matters, your body is cared for, your dreams have space, your relationships feel meaningful, your inner world is rich and you still have so much fun living it.

That, to me, is femininity.

Not becoming less.

Becoming more and more yourself.
