Nobody Told You It Will Feel This Way

Nobody Told You It Will Feel This Way

The invisible pressure of being a woman today and the only way I know to walk through it.

Can I be honest with you for a second?

Not wellness-brand honest. Actually honest.

Being a woman right now is a lot. Not in a complaining way. In a quiet, Tuesday-afternoon, staring-at-your-to-do-list-and-feeling-nothing kind of way. In the way where you are doing everything genuinely doing everything and still feeling like you are somehow behind.

Nobody told us it would feel like this. And I think we need to talk about why.

Society gave us everything to do. Nothing to feel it with.

We were handed an impossible brief. Be ambitious but not aggressive. Be soft but not weak. Have a career, a body, a relationship, a social life, a morning routine, a savings account, a skincare ritual, a side project, a mental health practice and do it all without looking like it costs you anything.

WHAT THE WORLD TELLS US BEFORE 9AM

“you should be further along by now”

“she has the same 24 hours as you”

“you just need more discipline”

“why don’t you have it together yet”

“being tired is not an excuse”

And the cruelest part? We believe it. We don’t blame the impossible standard. We blame ourselves. We take the weight of a broken system and turn it into a personal failure. We decide we are the problem.

We are not the problem.

It was never about motivation.

Here is what I see again and again in the women who find this community. They are not lazy. They are not undisciplined. They are not lacking ambition or ideas or potential. They are overwhelmed and overwhelm looks exactly like laziness from the outside, which is why the world keeps prescribing discipline when what’s actually needed is something far more foundational.

“You cannot build a life from a place of constant depletion. The answer is not to push harder. It is to build something that holds you while you grow.”

The gap is never between where you are and where she is. The gap is between who you think you need to be to deserve that life and who you already are.

WHAT WE CARRY

-Decision fatigue

-Comparison pressure

-Perfectionism

-The mental load

-Self-doubt dressed as logic

WHAT SHE HAS

-A framework

-A reset ritual

-Clear identity

-Sustainable systems

-Permission to begin

The difference between the woman you are and the woman you are becoming is not talent. It is not luck. It is not privilege or timing or the right circumstances finally arriving. It is a decision to stop waiting for the weight to lift before you start moving and to start moving so that the weight has somewhere to go.

WHAT I WANT YOU TO KNOW

“You are not behind. You are not broken. You are a woman who has been carrying too much, for too long, without a system built to hold it.”

That is what we change here.

You don’t need to fix yourself. You need a framework.

Every piece of content in this space, every product, every letter, every email it exists because I believe one thing completely: the version of you that you keep glimpsing is not a fantasy. She is the direction. And the only thing standing between here and there is a set of real, sustainable tools built for your actual life not an aspirational one.

Not a 5am routine designed for someone without a job. Not a 12-step system you’ll abandon by Thursday. A framework that meets you exactly where you are and walks you, stage by stage, toward who you already know you’re meant to be.

That is Wellness Glow Club. That is why this community exists. And if you found your way here you already know that something has to change.

You found this for a reason.

The woman you are becoming doesn’t need you to be perfect. She needs you to be persistent to keep showing up, keep resetting, keep choosing her even on the days you don’t feel like it.

That is what we build here. Together. One honest letter at a time.

Welcome. I’m glad you’re here. 🤍
