How to Become the Woman You Want to Be Without Changing Your Whole Life

I Think Women Underestimate How Capable They Are of Changing Their Own Life

I genuinely think women underestimate themselves. Not because we do not have big enough dreams, because I actually think most of us know there is more we want for ourselves. We have ideas about the kind of woman we want to become, the things we want to experience, how we want to feel in our bodies, the work we want to do, the confidence we want to have and the kind of life we want to wake up to. The problem is that somewhere along the way we have made changing our lives feel like this enormous project. We think we need the right routine, the right amount of time, the right motivation or some completely different version of ourselves before we can actually begin.

I don't think that is true. I think a lot of becoming the woman you want to be is much less glamorous than we imagine it to be. It is having an idea of what you want and then making little movements towards it often enough that eventually your real life starts looking different. Five minutes counts. Ten minutes counts. Sending one email counts. Writing down the idea counts. Doing a small workout counts. Opening the document and working on something for fifteen minutes counts. Having one uncomfortable conversation instead of avoiding it counts. You are creating movement, and that movement matters far more than constantly thinking about how much you want your life to change.

That is also how I personally think about manifestation. I love dreaming. I love writing down what I want, creating vision boards and imagining what could be possible for my life. I think there is something incredibly powerful about allowing yourself to want things without immediately talking yourself out of them. But for me, manifestation has always needed another half: action. I can write down that I want something a hundred times, but eventually I have to give that dream somewhere to go in my actual life.

That action doesn't have to be dramatic either. I think this is where we lose ourselves sometimes. We imagine that if we are serious about a goal, we need to suddenly give it huge amounts of our time. But I have built so much of my own life through small pockets of time. Sometimes you only have ten minutes, so use the ten minutes. You do not have to wait until you can give something an entire afternoon before it becomes worth doing. Ten minutes spent creating, learning, writing, moving, researching or building is ten minutes where something that previously only existed in your imagination has started becoming real.

And every time you do that, you are also building evidence for yourself. This part matters to me more and more as I get older. Confidence and self-trust are not only thoughts we repeat to ourselves. They come from being able to look at your own life and see proof that you show up for the things you say matter to you. When you tell yourself you want to start something and then spend ten minutes starting it, there is evidence. When you decide you want to take better care of yourself and you make one decision that reflects that, there is evidence. When you say you want a different career and you finally send the application, there is evidence.

Your mind does not need your entire future to change overnight. It needs enough real experiences to begin believing that a different reality is possible for you. That is why I think small action is so underrated. You start becoming someone you trust because you keep showing yourself that your desires do not have to remain thoughts.

This is also why I don't believe you need one perfect routine in order to grow. I have never lived exactly the same week over and over again. Life changes. Work changes. Your energy changes. Things become important and then stop being important. Sometimes you are incredibly focused on one goal and six months later something completely different matters to you. I think that is normal. I would rather have a woman understand what she wants, know why it matters to her and keep making little decisions towards it than spend all of her energy trying to perform the same version of herself every day.

There also has to be space to live. This is something I care about deeply with Wellness Glow Club because I don't want women's entire lives to become about improving themselves. You should have goals and still be able to have a lazy evening. You should be ambitious and still have hobbies that lead nowhere. You should care about wellness and still enjoy food. You should want to become more confident and still have days where you doubt yourself. You should be able to build something meaningful and also have periods where you are tired and need more rest. None of those things cancel out the person you are becoming.

For me, balance isn't about giving every part of my life the same amount of attention all the time. It is knowing what matters to me and being able to return to it. That is a huge reason I started putting my goals, thoughts, manifestations, habits and reflections somewhere outside of my own head. I don't want to wake up every morning trying to remember everything I am meant to be becoming. I want to know that I've thought about it, written it down and given myself somewhere to return when I need direction.

That eventually became the Becoming Her Life System. I originally built that structure because I needed it myself. I wanted somewhere to dream, manifest, make my goals real, break them down and keep the different parts of my life connected without having to constantly think about all of them. I can open it, remind myself where I am going, decide what matters now and then close it again. The point was never to spend more of my life planning. The point was to free up more of my mind so I could actually live and still know I was moving towards something.

And I think that is what I want more women to realise. You are probably much more capable of creating the life you want than you currently give yourself credit for. You do not need to know exactly how everything will happen. You don't need to become a completely different person before you begin. Start by letting yourself dream properly. Write down what you want without shrinking it. Then ask yourself what tiny piece of that life you can make real today.

Maybe it genuinely is five minutes. Do the five minutes.

Then do another small thing when you can.

Dream. Manifest. Action. Live your life. Come back to it.

Over time, those little pieces become evidence. The evidence becomes self-trust. And eventually you look around and realise that something you once only imagined has quietly started becoming your actual life.

That is becoming her to me. Not waking up one morning as a completely different woman. Realising you were capable of building her all along.

If you know the life you want but need somewhere to actually start building it, that’s why I created the Becoming Her Life System. It gives your dreams, manifestations, goals and next steps one place to live, so you can stop carrying everything in your head and start making small moves towards it in real life.
